8th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Entry Form

The 8th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest is open to photographers ages 18 and over. Submitted photographs must have been taken since January 1, 2008.

Digital photographs should be submitted at the highest resolution possible.

2. Upload your photo
Before uploading your photograph, you MUST adhere to the following restrictions:
Actual file size may not exceed 2,048 KB (2 MB) and must be in .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format. Please double check the file size and file type of your photograph BEFORE uploading. Please retain a copy of your photograph in your personal files that is at LEAST 8 x 10 inches at 300 dpi.

Before uploading your photograph, you MUST adhere to the following restrictions:

Actual file size may not exceed 2048 kb (2mb) and must be in .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format (myphoto.gif - myphoto.jpg - myphoto.jpeg). Please double check the file size and file type of your photograph BEFORE uploading.

NOTE: You may enter no more than seven (7) photographs in each of the five categories with a total contest submission of thirty-five (35) photographs. One (1) contestant per e-mail address.
