This was one of the first polaroids I took at work and it perfectly encapsulates kitchen life. In the center, my friend Donald (who has worked as a cook here for 4 years) remains calm and collected while our coworkers help prep for the day. Being sent here from Albania by his parents in 2016, Donald has been part of the workforce since his junior year, putting his passion into practice with every dish he makes. Though exhausted by the end of the day with our shifts lasting from 6:30 am to 3 pm, he doesn't break a sweat and always takes whatever challenge comes his way headstrong.
