This image is part of a larger photo essay that I did while I was attending an artist in residency with the Ross Lynn Foundation in Louisiana. For my project, I photographed farmers in the region who are using sustainable methods in their practices. This young farm hand is learning the ropes of farming after school and while working on the weekends. Timothy wants to be a full-time farmer after he graduates from high school.
