7th Annual Photo Contest Entry Form


The Smithsonian magazine photo contest is open to photographers ages 18 and over. Submitted photographs must have been taken within the past three years (since January 1, 2007).

Digital photographs should be submitted at the highest resolution possible.

Don't forget:
All entries must be uploaded by 2pm Eastern Time, Tuesday, December 01, 2009.

About the Contest

An entrant must hold all rights to a photograph. For a photo in which a person is recognizable, you must provide a model release from the subject or, in the case of a minor, the subject's parent or guardian and provide to Smithsonian upon request.

You can download and print a model release from our Web site.
