A winter dawn in aNew Zealand pasture Joelle Linhoff Minnetonka, MN This year's grand prize winner is of the Tukituki River Valley in New Zealand. The photographer is 18-year-old Joelle Linhoff of Minnetonka, Minnesota. She'll receive a Smithsonian Journeys adventure for two to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in October (or the cash equivalent). Each category winner will receive $500. Smithsonian magazine's 4th Annual Photo Contest exhibition will be on view at the Smithsonian Castle between July 1 and August 15, 2007.
