I love the gray tones indicating the twilight of this plant's life. Artistically done. A winner!

Thanks! It was actually taken in November after a hard frost and then rain. It started out as a color image. I then adjusted the color, which made it bluish, and burned and dodged around the edged. Another day, I converted it to black and white, using the Channel Mixer in Photoshop. That produced tonalities that remind me of a lithograph. The funny thing about this picture is that I was in the roadway around the campus of Vassar College. I have always believed that dried, dead, and wilted plants can make the best pictures.

Mr.Martin was my photo teacher for this year of school and he had alot of great things to share with us and all his pctures are amazing hope u see this coment martin good work :)

This is awesome! The way the photo was manipulated it looks so creepy, but almost like something created with pen and pencil.
