喫茶店

喫茶店 Tea Shop I was travelling to Japan during spring. Though one might usually take photos of Sakura blossoms, which i did admire, i choose to go inside to get some tea to sip. I went round looking for a tea shop and found this lovely shop that was very pleasing to the eye. I bought a packet of tea from the uncle as feature in the photograph) and he was very kind to make me tea on the spot using his tea set. I found elegance in the way he made the tea, from how he gently lifted the cup and pouring the tea leaves into the ceramic pot with care. The aroma of the tea could be wafted the air and the flavour of the tea was very rich. I believe more people should appreciate the culture of tea making and encourage others to take a look around at their surroundings when travelling, with a greater excitement for the culture of locals.
