I bought this pickup when I was 20 years old and living in the Idaho countryside. I raised my children in it, many dogs and several beef that had to go to the vet. Over the years it became pretty beaten up. When I was 50 I started restoring it to its former glory, actually much better than when I used to drive it. People told me a woman alone cannot do this, so I had to prove people that with determination, money and heartbreak it can be done. This picture is me at 70 with my 55 Chevy that I have owned for 50 years. An American Tradition!
