2017 Eclipse totality viewed from the Dubois, WY outskirts in Union Pass.
This shot was a culmination of 4 months of planning. This is an uneditted raw picture of the 2017 eclipse totality viewed from Union Pass, WY. The white tendrils surrounding the eclipse are what's known as the "Corona" of the sun. The Corona (not the beer lol!) is an aura of plasma that surrounds the sun extending millions of kilometers into space. I did months of research trying to find the perfect location in the path of totality and ended up driving 6 hours and slept in my car for 2 nights straight to reach the final spot.
