Here is sunset over the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge in September, 2020. Michigan was getting the haze due to atmospheric conditions from the west coast wildfires, 2000 miles away, thus the 2K Sunset title. It made for an eerie look over the refuge. These drastic climate conditions affect the entire country at times, thus my decision to enter this one in The American Experience category.
