We were vacationing in July 2015 at the National Parks in Utah and Arizona, and we stayed at the Grand Canyon Lodge on July 4, 2015. We found out that they have this traditional "squirt gun" parade every fourth of July and it is usually the staff of the lodge against the guests! It's very hot that time of year, so we welcomed the fun, and they supplied us with squirt guns, barrels of water, and even rain ponchos. The parade of vehicles went around the little entrance to the lodge 3 times, and my kids had a blast and got soaked. By the third time it went around, all the adults got involved too! After this they gave us free watermelon and drinks...
