This is a photo I took on 9/11 in New York. During the time that I went, the memorial was closed off to the public. Around the borders of where we were allowed, people gathered. Here, we see two people standing as close as they can to the memorial, in the middle of news reporters' equipment. Just outside of this photo, many newscasters and people were gathered, carrying flags and such. This felt like such a separate moment which seems rare in an instance like this.
