A rescued baby sloth in Costa Rica
Taking part in a sustainable travel project makes a trip even more meaningful. One aspect is caring for another living creature, especially if it is an endangered species or is at risk of becoming endangered or worse, extinct. While traveling in Costa Rica, my significant other and I visited the Foundation Jaguar Rescue Center in Puerto Viejo. A volunteer was holding a baby two-toed sloth and even though there were many visitors that day, I managed to get a closeup photo.
