While exploring along the Salmon River in central Idaho, I saw a flash of white up ahead in the burn scar where a wildfire had ripped through a few years prior. I realized it was a bald eagle, perched above the river. This flash of life gave me hope that the burned area was recovering. A beautiful reminder that nature heals.
