15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A beautiful peacock in the grass.
Beacon Hill Park in Victoria B.C. is famous for the many peacocks that wander the park. I was trying out a new lens on my camera and was looking to get some close up shots of the beautiful birds. This one was not camera shy and posed for the perfect shot.
