A Beautiful Threat

The steam that arises from one of the 500 geysers (Castle Geyser) in Yellowstone Park, as well as some 10,000 thermal features are a constant reminder of the looming threat that lies beneath. Yellowstone is the most famous super-volcano in the world, and should the earth ever release its massive force it would be devastating, from loss of life, wildlife, to crop failures, and most certainly an altered climate.
