14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A beetle in Xinbeitou.
Stepping outside Taiwan's Xinbeitou MRT station, I heard the cicadas singing. I felt compelled to look at the nearby trees which led me to find this beetle blending into the bark!
