This is a photo of a bicolored striped sweat bee on a flower growing in our wildflower garden. This garden had a variety of wildflowers and it was fun to try to identify them as well as take photos of them. Invariably, an insect of some sort could be spotted on these flowers pollinating away. It was also fun trying to identify them! I thought this insect was amazingly colorful and thought the name of the flower was so appropriate.
