A bike ride through Colmar
I visited France over the summer. One day my group was able to visit the beautiful city of Colmar. The colors of the buildings there are bright and vivid! I was told that the reason for the bright colors goes back a long time in history. Supposedly people used to color their houses so that others were able to distinguish between who lived in what house. "Fred lives in the green house and Penelope lives in the pink house!"
