The photo shows an American Bison standing in the meadows of Hayden Valley at Yellowstone National Park. While I was scouting the park for wildlife, as I constantly discovered over abundant herds of Bison. However at the corner of the park, the bison above was standing lonely, motionless. I vividly remember wanting to capture the stillness and calmness (opposed to the wilderness) in the bison, mountains, clouds, and grass.
