A Black-capped Chickadee entranced by winter's beauty
Black-capped Chickadees are year-round residents of Atlantic Canada. With their cheery personalities, they are a source of joy and hope during our cold winter days. This photograph shows a sweet little chickadee perched on a branch, seemingly entranced by the beauty of a frozen water droplet. Seeing this little bird's interest in such a common-place occurrence made me smile and go home happier for my walk in the crisp cold winter air.
