A Brown Pelican
Upon our return from a cruise ship excursion for bird watching, we were accompanied by a number of pelicans. It is common for bird watching boats to toss out small fish upon their return, so as to attract large numbers of pelicans and frigates, which can be entertaining, especially when a nervous tourists is asked to stand at the boat front and hold up a fish.
