14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
A butcher in the ancient medina of Fez, Morocco.
During my tour of Fez I was mesmerized by the raw, natural way of life. As I passed by this butcher, I noticed the array of seafood choices was stocked full, beautifully arranged and fresh. Interesting fact, they climb over the counter to get in.
