The pandemic ushered in a new phase in my photography journey: self-portraiture. With nearly three years of confinement and minimal outside interaction, I turned the camera towards myself in the absence of other subjects. This exploration into self-portraiture has become a pivotal aspect of my growth as a photographer. My shyness and lack of confidence in revealing myself to the world were intensified by the pandemic, as isolation and lockdowns deepened these feelings. This image embodies the journey through self-doubt, solitude, uncertainty, and fear that I've experienced over the past several years.
