This brittlestar is releasing her eggs into the water column to ensure the next generation of her species. A sustainable travel project, to me, would be any project that one travels for that in some way helps the environment or that helps us to understand our world so that we can better conserve it. The trip I was on when I took this picture, was for conservation and research of Caribbean corals and other reef invertebrates.
