A Child's Shoes On the Danube
The Shoes on the Danube is a moving and evocative Holocaust memorial along the banks of the Danube. The child's shoes, placed among myriad others of all sizes, perhaps was the most moving of all sculptures, causing me to pause and snap a picture to remember it by.
