A bus trip to the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary aroused new feelings in me for the lovable chimps of the world. Several chimp villages in Sierra Leone care for chimps that were orphaned from war and human abuse. Each chimpanzee has its own personality. Some from an abusive past became violent. As my visit ended one chimp threw stones and sand over the fence at me. This photo displayed a more serene image of the playful chimps.
