This is a chukar partridge that I saw hanging around some trees on our land about 15 miles from Bismarck, North Dakota. We see a variety of wildlife but had not seen a chukar until then. It sat there and let me take all the pictures I wanted. I thought there might be a nest but I never saw it again nor any babies.
