On a winter's stroll through the Swiss countryside, I came by a bird feeding spot amidst a snow-covered forest. Careful and rather suspicious at first, the birds observed my hands from the trees before a brave one made a first attempt to land on my hand. The others followed suit quickly after. Safe to say that I, too, was apprehensive at first.
