22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A cladonia fimbriata with a drop of water - the cup of the elves.
Сladonia is popularly called the trumpet cup, as it is similar in shape to a cup, but its size is only a few millimetres. I managed to photograph it on an old tree near the pond.
