In the middle of a sunny day with harsh light, I struggled to find wildlife that was in a good position to photograph. I came across this lizard who was in a shaded area by a pond and the light was almost magical. This is a Common Basilisk Lizard who is also known as the Jesus Christ Lizard for their ability to "walk on water".
