On June 18th 2022, a westbound Ctrail Shore Line East Commuter train departs New London, CT Station heading to New Haven. An M8 electric MU set is covering the run. Just recently before I took this picture, M8s started getting assigned to Shore Line East trains which have used diesel power for many years. The old fashioned buildings that comprise of Downtown New London are on the left while the empty New London Waterfront walkway is on the right. The bridge in the background carries I-95 over the Thames River.
