Following the local Black Live Matter protest in my area, I was able to witness many things, least of which being what you see before you. A youth protester holding a upside-down tattered American flag, a sign of distress, a sign not to represent the nation but it's neglected and disenfranchised children, a sign to represent the broken contract before a people and a choice to move forward.
