20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A Crab Spider on Marigold petals.
In my backyard garden, a tiny Crab Spider fits like a puzzle-piece in the organic curves of an African Marigold petal. I imagine the spider floating on rhythmic ocean waves waiting for the catch of the day.
