23rd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Wildlife
A cub overlooking his kingdom
As the afternoon was winding down we came across a sleeping pride of lions. Most of the lionesses were hidden in the grasses but three cubs had already woken up and were playing on a nearby tree.
