15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
A day in Cotton Candy Park

I became very inspired to get into infrared photography after discovering Richard Mosse works. I bought my Hoya infrared filter and decided to explore my hometown of Yonkers NY with my new perspective. This was shot on the side of a parkway in Yonkers by Sprain Ridge Park. It was my first time trying Infrared and just so happened my nieces and nephews birthday party was at this park full of trees. I didn't hesitate, I brought my camera and my filter and was ready to create.
