A Digger Bee hovers over Lantana blossoms
This was one of several of the small Digger Bees I observed hoving over a flowerbed of Lantana, apparently looking for individual blossoms that held moisture or pollen. Occasionally when they spotted something of interest, they would land briefly, partake, then dart away to another flower or a neighboring bed.
