The Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN was partially drained in October, 2020, allowing visitors to literally walk the river floor. We located quite a few “treasures” you’d expect on a river bed floor such as tires, glass, and other objects. The river bed was surprisingly soft and made fall feel like a summer beach day.
