We toured a beautiful part of Washington state called the Palouse. It's rich farmland where canola and wheat are grown along with other crops. The people we met there are hard-working and independent and enjoy the fact that they live in a relatively remote part of the state. Barns, old vehicles and farm equipment are found along the back roads in an unusually beautiful backdrop of gently rolling hills.
