I heard a great deal of noise in a tree and looking up to see this feisty little Northern Mockingbird trying to scare off an American Kestral. The Mockingbird seemed to puff itself up and spread its wings and tail out to look larger and more threatening. The Kestral turned its back on the Mockingbird and tried to ignore it. In the end, that very persistent Northern Mockingbird successfully drove the American Kestral away!
