A female Peregrine Falcon flies above the river.
The opportunity to shoot a falcon FROM ABOVE is pretty special. This female (based on size and the fact that she had come from the aerie after shredding and feeding prey to nestlings) was captured flying downstream over the river as I stood on a bluff overlooking the water.
