16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
A fireplace within a Victorian-style farm house in South Carolina.
On my way to view various feral birds and alligators, I visited an early 20th-century Victorian-style farm house at a State-owned wildlife management area. Upon arrival, I patiently admired the unique deterioration of the fireplace and surrounding wallpaper adhesive residue in the darken living room.
