A Flame Lilly

DESCRIPTION: This flower is named as Gloriosa superba or Flame Lilly. As the name tells Gloriosa, that means ‘full of glory’. Flame lily is native to much of Africa and Asia, but it is known worldwide as an ornamental plant, a medicine, a poison, and a noxious weed. it is the national flower of Zimbabwe and state flower of Tamil Nadu. It is in great demand for medicinal use.
