Birds of a Feather
It was the end of the day, and this was one of the last shots I took at the LA Zoo. I wanted to focus on the texture of the feathers. The Greater Flamingo, or Phoenicopterus roseus ruber can weigh up to 9 lbs and grow to 5 ft. tall.
