A Flatland of Salt in the West
The photo was taken at the Bonneville Salt Flats about 100 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah. The background contrasts the foreground in an extremely straight line between the shadowed mountains and the salty ground with one small salt chunk sticking upward.
