13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A flower growing in Hawaiian waters.
This photo was taken at a garden on the road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii. I noticed a small pond that the purple and yellow flower was growing in. I had never seen anything like it.
