Dense fog set in over Big Moose Lake in the Adirondacks overnight. I got up before sunrise to take the canoe out, camera in hand, to be the first one on the lake. There’s not much more moving in the human experience than to be alone on a still lake in the Adirondacks with the calls of loons in the distance.
