A glacier lily reaches for the sun on the side of a mountain in the Canadian Rockies.
This is a photo Erythronium grandiflorum, also known as the glacier lily. This image was captured in the late spring on the side of Cascade Mountain, near Banff, Alberta. This beautiful flower will slowly extend its petals as it basks in the warm sun.
