22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
A golden door to the ocean.
The photo was captured in the Masca gorge on Tenerife island. I arrived at the small village just minutes before the last light of the sun was crashing into the ocean behind the cliffs of the canyon below and I had to take a shot of the marvelous contrast between green, yellow red and blue colours.
