Every summer, my friend from my old hometown takes the eight drive to visit me where I live near the beach in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. We lay out on the beach, catch up on each other's college lives, and ask questions about our future plans. We always manage to pick up wherever we left off the previous summer. And like clockwork, my friend always asks me to have a photoshoot with her on the beach her last evening before going home. It has become a tradition for us to choose outfits, prepare the camera, and take the golf cart out to the beach as the sun sets for our annual shoot. This year we had intermittent rainfall and had to be careful while taking shots. We must have only been there an hour or so but I could have stayed there taking pictures and talking about old times forever.
